breaking the hiatus

I have been so busy the past semester that updating my portfolio and blog has taken a backseat to schoolwork! But I have been shooting steadily this year! In actuality, blogging is extremely therapeutic and is something that I consider to be "productive procrastination." I plan on doing a few "recap entries" to catch up my blog to where I am currently!

Let me begin with a wonderful blogger and friend I connected with this semester, Jillian. She runs a beautiful fashion and lifestyle blog over at Rejoice In The Journey. I am so happy to have the chance to keep shooting and seeing work posted regularly! Seeing her blog made me nostalgic for my own days when I would blog on the regular. Enough talk! Here are a few of my favorites - shot from February to April of 2015:

Clothing in the first two images were graciously provided by Hemline and the gorgeous handbag pictured in the last three photos is designed by Kelly Wynne.

texas part i.

Walking around the gorgeous University of Texas campus in Austin really gets my creative juices flowing. I mean, getting up to go to class every morning can get dull but somehow the beauty of the architecture just gets to me. Why I haven't posted anything about my wonderful college is beyond me! It's about time!

A shot from the Austin City Limits Music Festival in October! By volunteering I was able to go to both weekends absolutely free! And I got a ton a free shirts! Long overdue to be posted about but it was an amazing experience never to be forgotten. I was able to cross off so many artists off my to-see-live bucket list. Depeche Mode, Walk the Moon, MS MR, Passion Pit, Kings of Leon, Dan Croll, Kodaline, Franz Ferdinand, Arctic Monkeys and so many more!

Driving to Magnolia's per Danielle's spot-on recommendation!

I know, just a quick update, but I have so many shoots planned and I can't wait to share them here! to be continued...

I hate to say this, but I have definitely been running out of ideas on shooting spots in Houston... So once again here is another shoot at Hermann Park. I need to go location scouting soon or I'm going to go crazy!! If anyone has any suggestions please let me know!

Anyways, I had a lovely time shooting with Jackie again for her new youtube channel! She's hilarious! Please check her out if you're in need of a laugh! Click here for her Youtube channel.
